Ellen has designed the lighting for hundreds of shows nationwide.  Among the plays, dances and operas she has designed in the Los Angeles area are: “The Exonerated” with The Actors’ Gang, “deLearious” with Open Fist Theatre Company, “Laura” with Theatre 40, “Grendel” with Circle X, “Hotel C’est L’Amour” with Blank Theatre Company, “Mother Courage and Her Children” with Antaeus Company and “Wicked Lit” with Unbound Productions. She also was the Assistant Lighting Designer on “House of Blue Leaves” and “Like Jazz” at the Mark Taper Forum, “Barbara Cook in Mostly Sondheim” at the Ahmanson Theatre and on the Tokyo DisneySea theme park for Walt Disney Imagineering.  She has won an LA Weekly Award and a Stage Scene LA Award, and has been nominated for Ovation, NAACP, Broadway World and Lester Horton Dance Awards.
